Lupe Fuentes kicks off 2023 with “Vamo Pa La Brea”, out now via her newly relaunched record label IN THE LOOP Recordings.

Los Angeles-based producer, DJ, and label head Lupe Fuentes is making her mark with a sound that frames her musical identity around her roots. Hints of Latin rhythms and tribal percussions that transform into dance floor anthems are written all over her productions, which have seen releases on Nervous Records, Mad Tech, Brobot, and many more established labels. 

Fuentes has spun for Dr. Greenthumb hosted by Cypress Hill’s B-Real, and played stages with Green Velvet, Gorgon City, and Sonny Fodera. Hit singles such as “Out of Control” and “Lose My Mind” have received support from industry heavy-weights such as Nicole Moudaber, Maceo Plex, Booka Shade, Richie Hawtin, Carl Craig, and Claude Von Stroke, to name a few. 

Always searching for new ways to connect and spread her love of music, Fuentes launched her own imprint and brand IN THE LOOP in 2014, putting out over 100 releases from friends like Kerri Chandler and Todd Terry while curating new talent around the world. 2023 sees the label embracing more house and techno tailored strictly for the dance floor, which can be heard at monthly pop-up parties, and In The Loop radio show on Rinse FM. 

Lupe’s focus is to continue commanding dance floors across the globe. From being featured in Pulse Radio, Mixmag, and DJ Mag to live streams on InsomniacTV to performing live, Lupe has no plans to slow down. “I don’t do this for any other reason than I love house music, I love to DJ and I’m compelled daily to produce… Be it for one person or 50,000 on the dance floor. I’ll make sure they feel like I’m playing just for them!”
