Berlin-based producer and DJ, Superlover returns to Club Sweat with a pure and positive piano weapon in the form of “Woodworm”
Superlover, AKA Ferri Borbas, has been consistently on the rise since launching his project in 2011 with a steady stream of releases burning up dancefloors globally, Superlover has swiftly established a reputation for creating emotional and energetic tunes, translating disco and funk into modern house music.
Born and raised in Berlin, after the fall of the Wall he embraced the budding techno culture that shaped Germany in the 1990s. His early productions mirrored the influences of the raw and industrial techno sound also drawing influence from the likes of DJ Sneak, Ian Pooley, and later Daft Punk and the French Touch movement associated artists like Alan Braxe, Cassius, Fred Falke, and Etienne de Crecy.
Talking about “Woodworm”, Superlover says, “During the past winter months i have been under the heavy influence of 1980s movies and series on Netflix, this and my recent purchases of a lot of analog hardware synths paired with anticipation of the summer coming up in Europe resulted in this trademark feel-good Superlover tune”
Woodworm…. Impossibly good house music.
‘Woodworm’ is out now via Club Sweat.
