Parisian house duo, Twice Movement made a splash on my radar several months ago with the A2 nestled on a 12″ disc for the Groovence label, which they also happen to co-run. Here, they make a digital offering for fellow French outfit, Boussole Records in the form of “Undertow,” an equally deep number that features crunchy percussion and blissful chords. A syrupy bass sample filters in and out of the spotlight, holding down the low-end, ever-faithfully while hypnotic hi-hats keep the groove tight and locked in.
