The Soul Brothers land on Bedouin’s Human By Default this June with the ‘Los Hermanos Del Alma EP’.

Comprised of Mexican-born duo Daniel Muñoz and Tomás Encorrada, The Soul Brothers craft deep and energetic music that has graced Akbal Music, Talavera Records, as well as the esteemed Buddha Bar compilations. Arriving on Human By Default for the first time, the duo bring four dancefloor focussed tracks to Bedouin’s lauded imprint, imparting a distinctly South American flavour across the EP.

‘Bella’ sees deep rumbling bass, sparkling sitars, and dubby vocal chants for a hypnotic, otherworldly start to the release, followed by the delicate textures of ‘La Mentira’, which utilises clever arrangements built for memorable club moments.

‘Una Vida’ sees another dose of vocal samples, propulsive percussion, and grooving low end across the full seven minutes before closing track ‘Recuerdos’ brings the tempo down, with its laidback synthesis fluttering across restrained drum patterns to round out the tenth release on the label.
