Ronnie Spiteri returns to Do Not Sleep with a blistering EP of trademark bouncing beats. Francisco Allendes and VONDA7 provide meaty remixes rounding a really tasty package ahead of the summer season kicking off in May.

Title track ‘Tunnel Ride’ is so insanely groovy, it’s just bliss when accompanied by a solid low-end grunt paving the way. Crisp percussion and swinging stabs drive the track, whilst the use of female vocals bring a touch of class.

‘Collateral’ is a dark roller. Focusing on that low-end fury Ronnie gets so right, dubby stabs add direction to the sparse percussive framework. Find your space and groove, this one is a late-night treat for just before the sunrise.

On remix duties, Francisco Allendes funks up ‘Tunnel Ride’ into a grittier, dirtier ride. Raw and uncompromising, the female vocal shots take centre stage as risers and drop sonics direct the action. VONDA7 takes ‘Tunnel Ride’ down a more techno path. Repeated vocals become hypnotic before the drums take over and destroy the dancefloor.
