Athens producer, Kreon, dices up this surreal and groovy tune on Serialism — out Dec 2nd.

Cesare v Disorder’s Serialism is back with a fourth great EP of 2016, this time from Athens born artist Kreon. He serves up four fantastic cuts that make for another standout offering on this always essential label.

Kreon has been releasing music for almost a decade now. Always evolving with each new release, he has landed on labels like Concealed Sounds, Equivalence and Robsoul, and with a background in electrical engineering always ensures his sounds really stand out.

Up first here is Hualtor, seven subtle and synthetic minutes of trippy minimal techno with spooky voices and wonky synths all making you loosen your joints. Next up, Forpsyche is deep and unhinged, with curious sound designs and freaky little details all sounding spooky and intriguing. The groove is lumpy and perfect for intimate back rooms everywhere.

Last track Valtera is a grand opus, and over more than eleven minutes it really works you into a trance with its spacious rubbery drums, filtered alien vocals and crisp percussion. Popping and ducking and diving as it goes, it is a masterful electronic composition with real soul. Buy the EP digitally and you will also get Forpyke, a raw minimal track that sends shivers up your spine with its haunted lead synth lines and high pressure snares and hi hats.

All in all this is another fascinating new EP from Serialism and their great new signing, Kreon.
