As we’ve officially hit summer, it’s time to turn up the heat and dig into some tuff grooves to make your body sweat! To achieve this goal, we’ve enlisted the help of our friend Felipe Gordon and his Nómada Records label to bring up the temperatures. The 2nd chapter of the Nómada White Series is on the way and this time, it’s split EP that features six tracks courtesy of label-veterans 4004 and Jonahlo.

The A-side is handled squarely by 4004, formerly of Soul Of Hex. His trademark, wonky style shines through  on three tracks that fuse warm synths and jazzy harmonies. However, today we’re going to take a closer look at what the flip-side has to offer: more Colombian goodness from Jonahlo.

For me, the stand-out track is what we have on offer today and it comes in the form of “You Are Doin’ It…” a driving, floor-filler of a tune that flexes powerful horn-stabs, trippy synths and funk vocals.
