Felipe Gordon’s Nomada Records returns in digital format to showcase Italy’s freshest, discotastic export, Gledd. Already earning favor with the likes of labels such as Whiskey Disco and Rose Records, Gledd fire’s up a trio of funk-laden cuts, accompanied by remixers, Sound Therapy and Nico Saav, for his Twistin’ EP that’s due out September 10th.

On “Every Night,” Gledd layers up a bevy of african percussion riffs atop a steady, 4/4 disco tempo. Rhodes riffs and a hypnotic bassline accompany lush pads, sultry vocals and jazz-influenced sample work. Things really heat up when jangly guitar chirps fall in and the bass groove explodes into a walking, Moog-ed up outburst. Hot Jam!
