Chaka Kenn’s latest EP “Women Beat Their Organ” features 3 tracks: CHANCE TO DANCE, an uplifting ode to the classic UK rave days, DO WITHOUT YOU is a downtempo revamp of a Janet Jackson favorite beautifully remade with a new chorus and a caribbean vibe, while the title track WOMEN BEAT THEIR ORGAN (featured here) goes above and beyond the average NuDisco jam, a loopy organ cut remixed by Kenny Summit who puts his trademark crowd friendly touch to the mix. Overall a very solid EP with a little something for everyone. Good For You Records is gearing up for quite a year with the release of the next PARADISE GARAGE compilation, the soundtrack to the GLORY DAZE film (the documentary about NYC “King Of The Club Kids” icon / murderer Michael Alig), and singles by everyone from ATFC, to Eric Kupper and even talks about an unreleased FRANKIE KNUCKLES track coming out soon.
