The first Unlearn release of the year enters in spectacular fashion, with a massive collaboration between Toronto heavyweight Jerome Robins and label head Doc Brown.

Jerome Robins is an electronic dance music producer & DJ hailing from Toronto, Canada. Although raised in Washington DC, his music career actually started while living and DJing in London’s burgeoning dance scene of the 1990’s.

Jerome has released consistently on the world’s top labels & has collaborated with – and been remixed by – the biggest artists in the industry. New single ‘Double Drop’ is a chuggy monster of a tune, with intricate melodic synth layers & accented with spaced-out vocal samples.

With the single out now, Jerome has put together a playlist featuring 10 of his favourite records of all time. Classic ahead!

Format:B – Chunky

A track thats never left my playlist. Bouncy house, tech & prog all blended perfectly with the most soulful of vocals.

Mood 2 Swing – All Night Long

Deep garage doesn’t get much better this this.

Paranoid Jack – Slavedriver

One of Toronto’s finest with a slick fusion of house, tech & prog.

DJ Sneak – Keep On Groovin’

Filtered disco house at it’s best.

Todd Edwards & Sinden – Deeper (Gorgon City Extended Remix)

A superb remix. UK garage with a bit of prog thrown in for good measure. Quality.

South Street Players – Who Keeps Changing Your Mind (Fresh Fruit Remix)

The best remix of the bunch for me personally.

Pete Heller – Big Love

In my opinion, the best house record ever made.

Rashid Ajami & Jerome Robins – Unstoppable (Tube & Berger Remix)

Deep, hypnotic prog at its best. The Tube & Berger boys nailed this one.

Rachael Starr – Till There Was You (Creamer & K Remix)

The biggest record I ever signed. Will always be in my top 10. Timeless.

DJ PP – Queen Of Disco (Hazzaro & Jerome Robins Remix)

One from my own vault. Hit #1 on Beatport & still destroys floors to this day.
