Israeli-born, New York-based pairing Shahar and Motum are names embedded within the city’s electronic music landscape. Holding down residencies and making appearances across the likes of Output, Pacha NYC, and Cielo, the pair have established themselves as DJs of note, gaining support on their productions from Guy Gerber and Danny Tenaglia. Up next, the two talents re-unite on Steve Lawler’s VIVa MUSiC to deliver their ‘Take Some Time’ EP.

‘Take Some Time’ reveals slick percussion backed by acid leads and warping low-ends, whilst ‘Slippin’ sees heady drums, slinking basslines, and soulful vocals throughout. Next, the two combine with Vanjee for the hypnotic grooves of ‘Moonwalker’, before closing with ‘Pleasures’ – an energetic production welcoming a final collaboration alongside Argentinian-born, NYC-raised Patrick Grooves.
