It’s been a busy few weeks for Vudu Records, they’ve relaunched the label with new music from label owners MDE (My Digital Enemy), as well as Alex Vives, Ivan Deyanov and many more. As they continue their quest of picking out some of the freshest underground house and tech-house tunes around, they recently stumbled upon ‘Mantra,’ a two track EP produced by returning Vudu favourite Motivee, however this time he’s joined forces with DJ and producer Bear Affair.

It’s easy to hear why this one has already had big early support from: Jamie Jones, GAWP, Fedde Le Grand, No Requests and many more.

Kicking things off with a deep and dirty rolling bassline, title track ‘Mantra’ goes in at 110% with its ferociously eerie melody, grooving vocal snips and aggressive tones throughout. Next up is ‘Shiva,’ it’s all about the bass with this one. A rumbling, relentless groove that that acts as the foundation of the whole record. With big build-ups and devasting drops, this one will be sure to do some serious dancefloor damage.

A perfect package for the weekend, this is a must-have from Vudu, who can’t seem to stop at the minute.

Mantra EP is out now via Vudu Records.
