Dubfire – Lotus feat. Carl Craig & Kate Elsworth (Tibi Dabo Remix) [Crosstown Rebels] — 2020-02-14 — The world was blessed with this beautiful tune on Valentine’s Day 2020. Berlin-based up-and-comer, Tibi Dabo, had a breakout year — releasing two singles and this massive remix on the almighty Crosstown Rebels. The stellar remix has all the elements of a timeless track: feel-good, infectious melodies; hypnotic, minimal groove; staggering hats; bumpin’ kicks; and chilling drops; all of which build up for 6 minutes to a perfect change-up at the tail-end. Nick Warren – Electro Shock [NATIV] — 2020-11-27 — Tough one this, its actually been a pretty good year in spite of ‘Rona. I had a chance to rediscover a lot of breaks from the early 2000s as well as find new stuff in 2020. The best of them was Nick Warren‘s ‘Electro Shock’ on NATIV.

Tim Green – Vacation To Life [All Day I Dream] — 2020-03-27 — This track from Tim Green on ADID is my favorite of 2020 — perfect melodic house with beautiful vocals it brings a great journey.

Lovebirds – People (Lovebirds Edit) [Sirsounds Records] — 2020-11-27 — Lovebirds was one of the first deep house music producers I ever discovered. This Edit of “people make the world go round.” Was a standout immediately because I remember loving “gangsters make the world go round” by westside connection. so this record brought me back to my childhood with a fresh dance floor feel.
