Defected Records has been a staple institution in the house music realm for two decades; carrying the genre into the 21st century and bridging the gap between generations.

Simon Dunmore is responsible for building a brand in empirical fashion. Defected’s music has most certainly touched every person in some way, shape, or form on dance floors worldwide–releasing hundreds upon hundreds of tracks since 1995. The London-based label has harvested and nourished the careers of artists like Fred Everything, Tensnake, Huxley, Dennis Ferrer, Noir, and Sonny Fodera to name a very small few.

Simon’s unwavering support and dedication for the label and its artists is evident in Defected’s long-standing foundation, continual upward movement, and its universally respected esteem within the music industry. An empire doesn’t grow without a selfless leader like Simon Dunmore.

2016 marks the inaugural Defected Croatia–a 5-day festival of house and hedonism at The Garden Resort in Tisno. Line-up TBA.
