As the summer party season nears, the earth thaws, the sun shines a big brighter, and tracks become a bit more energized and day-dance oriented. Madrid-based label, Suruba, releases their first 2013 work by bosses Los Suruba, who stay true to the darker elements of heavy winter tracks but impose a summery sweaty image to the mix.

“Can Pilot” is a desert night track; psychedelic tendencies and a heavy, consistent rumbling bass make it an optimal choice for a party maintaining a late, 4 am momentum. “Suruvilla” maintains the first track’s heaviness, but its electro-influenced energy is reminiscent of a hot daytime shakedown.

Both tracks are set to be summer staples, and are optimal weapons for inducing dreamy intoxication.
