Mexico-based project Lemon Mint lead by Rafa Navajas is doing big things with tracks already appearing on labels like Midnight Riot and Hotbox Music, and surfacing now on Dave Allison’s infamous Editorial with four refined productions for slowmo deep-disco and deep house connoisseurs.

Hard to choose from these four jams but having to pick after first impressions, Rubdown is one of our favorites – which Rafa tells us initially started as a simple edit of a RAMP jam and eventually took shape on it’s own into a deep-disco-house track that very accurately showcases the distinguished Lemon Mint sound. Next up Tornado is a modish party-starting jam arranging bouncy organic bass, electric guitars and vocal stabs over a captivating percussive ensemble. Back to basics on Messages where we see a notorious Vicki Anderson classic get a facelift including filters and big bass while keeping the gospel-funk vibe of the original present. You can get the Spiral EP now which is out this week on Editorial – four cuts of sophisticated party gold for your next warm weather wingding!
