“Who the f*ck is Jamie River?” – That’s the slogan written on Jamie River’s T-Shirt as he performs at Ushuaïa Ibiza on the same bill as Calvin Harris, Sonny Fodera and Monki. Already supported by label heads Solardo, the lads welcome Jamie’s debut Pesos EP to their respected Sola imprint.

With further support continuing to fly in from the likes of Camelphat, Nic Fanciulli, Steve Lawler and the aforementioned Calvin Harris, Jamie River is set to be the hottest name in the underground house scene this year. Along with the DJ backing, Jamie’s triumphant debut continues on the airwaves from BBC Radio 1 tastemakers including Danny Howard, Dance Anthems and Pete Tong all jumping on the release whilst reaching an impressive no.4 spot on the R1 Dance Chart.

Amidst what is one of the most impressive newcomer launches on the scene, the stellar release in question is finally set to drop. Jamie River’s Pesos EP speaks for itself, with lead track sending listeners to euphoric realms drawing on enchanting flutes laced over punchy percussion. Meanwhile, Do It To Me moves into a heavier space perfect for peak time club play. Two undeniable dance anthems in the bag for the rising talent, the Pesos EP is a showcase of true production prowess. It’s hard to believe Jamie River isn’t already one of dance music’s biggest staples already.

Jamie River – Pesos EP is out now via Sola.
