Italian DJ-producer JA:CK makes a big impression with his first release on the Family Piknik label. He serves up two superb cuts that take you to cosmic techno town while a remix comes from Emanate and Albano.

First up is Una Onda with its phased chords and tense drums. They roll deep and get you in the groove then keys and kicks keep you there. Asteroids is a beautifully serene cut with twinkling keys and deep rooted drums to pump the party. Its cinematic and beautiful but also physical. The Emanate remix is darker, dirtier, more heads down and for the club, then Albano comes up with some fantastic sound design and spaced out sounds on the Una Onda remix. It’s a closing tune that finishes this fine EP in style
