Fresh Faces episode 69 comes from one who’s actually quite established himself in the underground deep house scene, Iner. 

Based in Saint Petersburg, his main trends of his work dive between deep house, house, disco and funk. In his 6 year career as a musician, Vadim has been issued on foreign labels, performed in Belarus, Russia, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, Moldova and Thailand.  He also has extensive experience as a promoter in his local scene. Vadim successfully organized more than dozen parties with participation of foreign guests.

Interview With Iner

1.) Who is Iner?

The Iner project was created in Minsk in about 2012 by starting publishing on digital labels and doing parties in small bars. It’s main idea was and still is house and disco in a kind manner.  Then in 2015 I have started to receive invitations to play in Europe and Russia. Once I was playing in St. Petersburg and met a very nice lady, well, she is my wife now, and that’s the main reason why I moved to St. Petersburg.

2.) Tell us about your new label Dobro Music & what Inspired you to start your own imprint?

Well I started organizing events and parties on my own inviting respectable musicians from Russia and all over the Europe to be guest artists. And after a year of doing so, the idea came to my mind to start my own vinyl label where I can publish good music created by my friends and of course by me,  no need to say that inspiration came from my muse

3.) Who are your greatest influences as a artist?

4.) There’s some great artists coming out of Russia right now. Please tell us about the electronic scene in your country. What artists do you love past and present that have inspired and encouraged you and what parties that you love going to have helped your musical evolution.

5.) What have you been up to during lockdown?

I think like any other artists or producer I have spent most of my time creating.  Most of releases are planned for 2021.

6.) What else can we expect from Dobro over the next year?
