UKG legend DJ EZ has just completed the mammoth task, live streamed via Defected Records HQ and raised a staggering £87,898 from fan donations which were matched to the penny by the forward-thinking label.

The team behind the Defected Virtual Festival, awarded DJ Mag’s Best of British Award in 2020, have successfully hosted a special 24-hour live stream from UK Garage pioneer DJ EZ this past weekend. Defected records goal to utilise the power of music to unite people continues into 2021, providing much needed uplift in the wake of a third lockdown, the hardest yet on the morale of the nation.
