Deep Tech Los Angeles (DTLA) is back with a brand new compilation concept that is a true tribute to the ‘Underground’ through it’s latest release titled ‘Deep Tech Lockdown Sessions Vol.1′

The much anticipated compilation released on June 19th and has quickly been climbing the Beatport charts. Label head Redux Saints feature on the release titled ‘Stay Home’ sits at #1 in the ‘Best New Tech House Hype Chart’ for June and #6 overall. Shayne Fontaine’s track ‘Save Me’ sits in the top 10 of the Hype chart at #6, while CHESSER & Tone Troy’s ‘Let It Move Ya’ is at # 12 in the same tier.

Redux Saints kicks off the release with ‘Stay Home’ utilizing his production talent to deliver a public safety message for the pandemic. This message through sample brings an edge to this already driving Tech House landscape, there is no shy away from taking chances in sound taste and energy with ‘Stay Home’, which is also seeing early support from Gorgon City, DJ Chus and Codes.

US-based CHESSER and Tone Troy are up next with their exciting ‘Let It Move Ya’, which shines on percussive energy and delivers a fiery vocal that keeps the track alive. Husko’s ‘Just Hope’ comes just a year or so after his first release and has since seen releases on Toolroom, Glasgow Underground and CUFF while receiving props from the likes of Annie Mac and Denis Sulta. ‘Just Hope’ brings a fun work of big sounding drum work and an array of synths, the groove of vocals do a great job of rounding out the track entirely.

JollyJ comes straight out his Miami base with his energetic track ‘Stalker’. The track brings a huge sound stage of synths and drums that see’s inspiration through Latin sounds. JollyJ is already seeing it backed by Get Looze, DOD, and Versus in the USA. UK northerner, Kristone (Toolroom, High Pressure) delivers a personal favorite of mine with ‘Work It’. The slowed down Tech House belcher brings some very driving yet groovy bass work that’ll also make Acid lovers rinse and repeat. This track has seen support from Erick Morillo, Chris Lake and Danny Tengalia thus far.

Shayne Fontaine rounds out the compilation his contribution titled ‘Save Me’. Shayne has had a great year of production, having already kicked off the year landing a Beatport Top 25 release with Redux Saints on Toolroom called ‘Carnival Soul’. This latest release brings a true testament to the Tech House genre with great sounds around drum work, energetic vocal’s and relentless energy that has already been winning over the likes of Golf Clap, Riva Starr and Kryder.

The label has an eclectic selection of rising artists featuring rising label debutants Tone Troy, Hukso, JollyJ, Kristone and Shayne Fontaine, label veteran CHESSER as well as label founder Redux Saints aka Jason Trevor Miller. All of the tracks are fresh out of the studio with state-of-the-art sounding production, this six-track release sees ‘DTLA’ continue in it’s love of bringing Tech House to the masses.
