The first time I heard a Bicep track, my mind was pretty blown. Not only because it accompanied a video of a sick loft party in LA at sunrise (the image and its Bicep soundtrack, a perfect harmony, which was now forever stamped in memory), but also because the Irish duo’s sound was trip-inducing unique.

Bicep has a raw, vintage grungy feel – something a la Floppy Sounds NYC – but with a modern grit and youthful sexuality. Here they are on Heidi’s BBC Radio 1 residency, awkward electro, early morning mania, dub-tech-blissfulness.
