BEC is someone really making waves. She is establishing herself with a dark and driving techno sound that now lands back on Pan Pot’s mighty Second State label. Her four fierce originals come with a remix from Dutch titan 2000 And One, thereby making it a killer package. 

 

No Regrets opens things up with a hunched over groove, one that is sure to suck you up and sweep you along as it powers through the night. Are You Looking is more unhinged and freaky, with wobbly synths bringing tension and industrial vibes to the groove, and Play Drum then gets you into a state of hypnosis with edgy pads and deep burrowing synths. Synchronicity then is the most loose of the lot, with wobbling drums and rattling hits all making you want to cut loose. It’s all rounded out by a heavy 2000 and One remix that is monstrous thanks to the weighty kicks, clipped vocals and acid flashes.
