Forbidden Forest has a vast line-up of talent across multiple stages, and all genres are covered from drum & bass to grime and back again.

But there is also a hefty amount of world class techno on display at this year’s event in the stunning new location of The Belvoir Estate in Grantham from Saturday 2nd – Sunday 3rd July 2022.

Each of the different areas has its own immersive and cinematic theme, which is sure to make the whole experience even more unique.

Here we round up five of the best techno talents you need to see.

Alan Fitzpatrick

The big man from Southampton knows how to cook up a storm on the biggest of stages. He is a master of the peak time techno sound thanks to his love of big drums, driving bass and raw synth textures. He is also a fine producer with plenty of hits in his arsenal.

Rebuke

For a nuanced take on techno look no further than Rebuke. He has skills on the decks that join the dots between a myriad of different styles, and that makes him a vital act to see in any setting.

Loco Dice

The Desolat label head has always brought his own unique perspective to techno. His chunky take comes from his background in hip hop, and it’s paired with big rolling drums and a real sense of funk. Expect the long-time Ibiza legend and all round top DJ to pull out many tricks.

Adam Beyer

The king of what is called Business Techno has that title for a reason. His sound is all-powerful, his label is all powerful, his DJ skills are all powerful. He is a ruler of the big room and knows how to lock you into a groove for many hours on end.

Marco Carola

This Italian titan hails from Naples, which is known for its sleek and loopy minimal techno. Marco has got ever more exploratory over the years though, so expect those hypnotic sounds but also plenty of divergences into house, funky tech and plenty in between.
