Coyu’s techno-kitten label Suara dives into some deep house waters this August with their newest collaboration from German producer Tapesh and Danish producer KANT in What I Need. This EP is marvelously reflective of summertime, with catchy R&B samples woven through compelling resounding basslines that are sure to heat up any dancefloor – day or night.

Title track “What I Need” progresses through echoing synth chords and a recurring vocal cut before a raw drop introduces the true nature of this sharp, bass-laiden gem, while “Bust A Move” resembles big room production, focusing on prominent builds, disoriented claps and diced female chops.

Coming to a close, “Let Me Love You” transforms Mario’s sexy throwback into an upbeat stunner, encompassing that light indie-dance feel while still keeping it true to form-deep, lush and edgy.
