Charlotte de Witte’s KNTXT label is making big moves with its fierce brand of techno and now this new one from Alignment continues in that tradition.

Time opens up the Ep with real nervous vocal sounds and dark, booming drums. Its a hard hitting groove to get you on the seat of your pants and keep you there. Reverse then piles up the kicks and edgy synths into an alarming tune of high intensity and high impact techno power. It’s unrelenting and futuristic throughout. Automatic Control is more lit up with shiny synths that hang in the air above the snapping hits and brutal kicks. It’s emotive yet hard, somehow. Inner Voice then closes things down with hunched kicks, sweeping synths and a sparse urban feel that is brilliantly evocative. This artist is a new name making big moves and this is a fine EP to carry on that trend.
